Danceology was born from a genuine love of dance and a strong belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to move, express themselves and belong.We offer a wide range of dance and cheer classes designed to support dancers of all ages, abilities and goals. Whether you are seeking a fun recreational class, structured performance pathways or inclusive programs with additional support, Danceology provides clear options so every dancer can find the right fit.

Classes We Offer
Dance and Movement for Everyone
TINY DANCERS
Cheer Tots/Jazz/Tap/Ballet
This class is a favorite among many of our little students from ages 18 months to 3.5yrs. Everyone loves the opportunity to explore new dance moves taught in class, while also having fun with Mum/Dad or carer. Our amazing instructors make sure everyone gets individual attention while keeping the class collaborative. The Class consists of 30mins of creative movement and obstacle courses.
HIP HOP
Urban Ignition 5yrs to Adults Beginner to Advanced
Whether you’re looking to learn new street style hip hop or old Skool dance moves to hone in on your existing talent, this class is what you are looking for. The instructors are committed to giving each student attention while keeping the class moving forward.Teachers are registered with APDA and will offer examinations with Urban Ignition in term 3. All students are encouraged to participate in examinations however it is not compulsory. The Syllabus is fresh and inline with modern hip hop culture, students will learn floorwork, tutting, whacking, basic breaking and footwork. All work is progressive and designed to develop co-ordination, strength, agility and style.
BALLET
La Beauté Ballet Tinies to Adults.
La Beauté Ballet is a ground-breaking syllabus bringing a fresh approach to ballet whilst retaining all the discipline and technique of traditional ballet.La Beauté Ballet was devised to provide classical training to those who wish to incorporate ballet in their dance repertoire wihtout having to sacrifice training in other genres. The requirement of no more than two lessons per week enables the dance student to maintain their classical training alongside tuition in other forms of dance. Fundamentally, La Beauté ballet enables the millenial dancer to have a strong classical foundation whilst being versatile across all dance genres.We offer classes for tines right through to Adult open classes. Examinations will be take place in term 3.
JAZZ
JazzAddict 4yrs - Adults
This class is a favorite among many of our students. Everyone loves the opportunity to explore new dance moves taught in this class, while also mastering the classic moves. Students will be taught the APDA Jazzaddict Syllabus; The levels are made up of a series of exercises including arm combinations, classical technique, floor work, turns, isolations, leaps, amalgamations and dancesAll work is progressive and designed to develop co-ordination, strength, agility and style.Amalgamations include jazz, lyrical and/or contemporary and musical theatre.These styles complement competition/eisteddfod requirements.Examinations will be held in term 3.
COMMERCIAL HEELS
Feel good, fun Seniors/Adults
Heels is a feel good, sensual, fun and sexy class that will have you dancing with confidence. This class is done in high heels (preferably stilettos) that incorporates genres of pop, jazz and hip hop. Be open to building your confidence, performance, technique and lines in the class!If you are new to dancing in heels, please make sure that you are comfortable walking and moving in them before wearing them in class. Choose a pair of heels that are thicker, lower and have ankle support. Please start with the Foundation/Beginner moves before progressing to the more advanced movements.
DANCE WITHOUT LIMITS
All Abilities Superstars
All Abilities dance is open to students with additional Needs who are sometimes unable to participate in regular Dance classes. the music is lowered and all sensory needs are catered for. Instructors are certified with Rhythm works Integrative dance.Rhythm Works Integrative dance is a ground breaking rhythm and dance class that uses evidence based therapeutic practices to achieve developmental goals. To our students its a fun and exciting activity that provides participation and socialisation skills, our teachers work together with developmental teams to incorporate elements and strategies that best support your dancers needs and learning styles.Instructors recently completed the Performability Instructor Certification. Each class is tailored to suit the abilities of the students in the class. Dance is a wonderful way to gain confidence and make friends. For less mobile students, our dance classes are a great way for physical therapy to be incorporated in a fun and musical environment . Dance is also great for the mind as the students are encouraged to remember routines using imagery, muscle memory and music. Although our inclusive dance classes are full of fun and games, we understand that discipline is also an important skill and this is gently implemented into all of our programs.
ACROBATICS
Agility
We are currently registered with to teach IDT acrobatics syllabus. Many of our dancers love taking this class, as it gives them the opportunity to learn new skills to showcase their talent. When done correctly, acrobatics can be one of the most artistically creative sports to watch especially when combining with danceInterested in learning more? CONTEMPORARY
Lucidity 7yrs+
Students will be learning contemporary through the APDA syllabus Lucidity - Lucidity provides each student with solid technical training, performance training, and the platform to create, achieve and grow as a dancer and artist.Lucidity contemporary is a stimulating and dynamic dance curriculum which explores emotional connection.Technical aspects include; controlled leg work, torso contract-release, floor work - fall and recovery. Unpredictable changes in rhythm, speed and direction are incorporated.
EXTENSION JAZZ AND CONDITIONING
International Dance Technique
IDT (International Dance Technique) includes progressive stretch exercises with emphasis on safe dance practice (without sacrificing the lines and shapes necessary for current technique elements). Age appropriate conditioning exercises to strengthen muscles, increase agility, control and power in dance combos, training in all relevant Kick, Turn and Jump techniques, PLUS Combos and Choreography created by leading industry professionals from around the world. IDT aims to keep the dancer motivated to reach their full potential as a technical dancer. Students currently enrolled in Jazz classes will be offered this extra class.
MUSICAL THEATRE
Encore Musical Theatre 5yrs+
Encore Theatre Dance provides each student with solid technical training, performance training, and the platform to create, achieve and grow as a dancer and artist.Encore Theatre Dance provides a broad exploration of core genres within Musical Theatre.This performance syllabus has been created to:

build performance confidence

develop understanding of dramatic role-playing

teach character immersion (learning to become/play characters with conviction)

educate students of the history and evolution of musical theatre styles by exposing them to the core classic and contemporary genres within musical theatre

prepare students who wish to pursue careers in Musical Theatre

The focus is on achieving conviction of character and confident role playing through acting and dance. Singing is encouraged but not compulsory. This syllabus requires candidates to be training (or have trained) in another form of technical dance.
TAP DANCE
Tap Evolution 5yrs+
Tap Evolution is a unique tap syllabus that is stimulating and dynamic - it merges old-school tap and modern styles. There is an emphasis on rhythm, performance and musicality. Exercises are set to a range of exciting and up-to-date music. Technique progresses logically through the levels; no new steps are introduced until they have either been mastered at the barre, or at a slower tempo to ensure students acquire new skills from a strong foundation. The syllabus has been designed to complement styles performed at competitions/eisteddfods, and in the higher grades, what students may be asked to perform in auditions.
ADULT DANCE CLASSES
Adult All Star Dance Classes 18yrs+
Our adult dance classes are designed for individuals of all ages and skill levels who want to enjoy the many benefits of dance in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just starting out, these classes are perfect for improving fitness, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while having fun and making connections with like-minded individuals.
CHEERABILITY
Students with Additional Needs
The Cheer Abilities program is crafted to assist athletes with disabilities, providing support for the development of both fine and gross motor skills within the dynamic realm of Cheerleading. By incorporating the Cheer Abilities initiative, Danceology not only cultivates an inclusive gym environment but also contributes to the ongoing expansion of its core value, "movement for everyone." This program aims to empower individuals with special needs, enabling them to thrive in cheerleading while fostering a sense of inclusivity and achievement.
